meta and frankie : about
Meta was born on May 31, 2007.
She came to live with us on July 28th, 2007. Her name is pronounced “meh tah”:
Meta : [from Greek: μετά = "after", "beyond", "with"] = is commonly used to indicate a concept which is an abstraction from another concept. The word essentially means “to complete” or “to add to”
Then, on July 31st, 2009, Frankie Hula was born. Named after a Grandfather, Grampa Frank, and a dance, respectively. She came to live with us on October 2nd, 2009.
They are sisters and are of the North American Miniature Australian Shepherd variety, born of different litters by Lynn and Gardner Gray of Bluegrass Kennels in the Black Hills.
